12. To me the dividing line seems to be the "cultural" issues that mostly divide our party.

Issues like religion, gender, and sex are distractions from things like affordability, healthcare, childcare, taxes, and housing - the things that affect everyone. I do not care who you love, who you screw, or what God you worship and consider it none of my business.
