10. A study once posited an effect on the development of sperm with the Y chromosome...

Apparently there's something in the western cigarette manufacturing that affects sperm in a way that causes men who started smoking when they hit puberty (ages 12 - 15) - they don't produce the Y chromosome to regularly father boys.
I suspect there's a lot of external stressor situations, not just drug use, that affects the production of chromosomes in sperm.

Like if a society is under stress, it's more important for females to be produced to maximize the potential for both adaptive evolution and species survival.
