It cuts the IRGC money flow off. I see the Islamic Republic as the Kenneth McElroy of the Earth. Some will take out the nutball bully; everyone else will look the other way.
It seems like stating the obvious, but the correct progressive and liberal position is to want the Islamic Republic gone. Those curs are bigots of the worst kind and a clear threat to innocent human life. As a liberal and lifelong Democrat myself, I can't see it any other way. It's straightforward. The moral thing to do is hold your nose, hold your breath, and hope the IRGC are sent to Hell. Would that it weren't so.
