28. Glossing over what point? I've offered some of the many points you've detailed none.

Democrats and Republicans alike haven't done anything to prevent the hospital buyouts by private equity. Private equity is buying out Dental and Veterinary practices too. Very few Democrats initially backed national healthcare but now many are jumping on the Medicare for all bandwagon 45 years later. What have they proposed previously or in the meantime to make sure that Insurance companies can't deny care or that hospitals have to have a certain minimum staffing level of qualified certified professionals? ACA has no enforcement mechanism to guarantee insurance covers treatments prescribed by the provider or that hospitals and clinics have the required professionals. It's pretty much a you get what you paid for system unless you are indigent or working for cash and not reporting your income then you qualify for Medicaid in some states.

A lot of people on DU bashed Bernie Sanders. Hillary originally backed saving the Insurance Co's when her and Bill were planning to overhaul healthcare. Sure Republicans are worse and are trying to even take away the ACA and end Medicaid and Medicare but what has been proposed to reign in the greed in the industry that is driving the race to the bottom that has been going on since the 80s? Democrats initially scoffed at National Healthcare because they got money from the Insurance and Pharmaceutical CEOs. James Carville even complained that the donor money was going to dry up over all of the Medicare For All talk.

And I haven't glossed over anything. I broke down just a few of the many problems involved but I also provided explanations. Just saying it's the Republicans is glossing over issues.
