immoral, stupid war, and the US committed multiples war crimes there. Would you suggest a "patriot" should go to prison and be raped to prove their patriotism rather than avoid the draft? I'm not talking about people like Trump and George W. Bush who dodged the draft not because they were morally opposed to a war but because they didn't want to serve their country risk their lives for their country. The proof of the pudding is that when they both became politicians and gained the highest office in the land, they launched illegal, immoral wars. A draft dodger who avoids going to war for valid moral reasons can indeed give good advice about being patriotic.
