I think I would be more excited about seeing the real thing as opposed to watching the fiction on the telly.

And, I was a performer for four decades!

We did not have to deal with that where I was. I forget what it interrupted, but we neighborhood kids, who were avid watchers of 'Dark Shadows' and 'Star Trek' and 'The Avengers', were all for it! We watched it at my house, all seven of us. (Can't remember if mother was okay with that, but that is how it ended up.)
