About Trump sitting in the Supreme Court hearing [View all]

What he’s doing is what I call toxic hovering. The good ole boys use it to great effect. Here, locally, when there was a community scandal which I was vocal about, I experienced it. I would go to a public place like a book store or restaurant and I would notice someone I didn’t even know staring too hard. Within 15 minutes my neighbor, who was heavily invested in keeping me quiet would suddenly show up and glare at me. The scariest was when he sat down across from me at a large table. The glaring left no doubt why he was there. It’s an intimidation tactic:
