grocery stores etc. -and people looking down their noses at people struggling with life and what situation they're in. Been down myself a time or more and had to listen to the judgemental crap from "family and friends" and their looks of disgust thrown my way. I got to hear "You just don't want to work because if I went out looking I would have a job the same day" sort of crap. Then I got to hear "Well we never know where you're staying so we gave up trying to get a hold of you for Thanksgiving and Christmas" and I knew that it was just that they didn't want me around.

But I ran across some people during those times who were also down and struggling to get back on their feet who were some of the best people I ever met. Treated me better than any of my family or so-called "friends". I never forgot that. It's tragic that people don't realize that the care and kindness we show to people who are down and/or struggling with health or life isn't just something that helps the ones struggling it's also "seeds" for the garden we grow inside of ourselves.
