(8,775 posts)16. My old cat seems to have decided to be extra loving & protective of me lately
Last year, he seemed about to cash it in and I was very heartbroken facing the loss of my dear fur kid. But I got a supplement for the dogs' teeth and read it was good for cats too. Since he gets a tiny scoop daily, he is about 5 years younger. It's either the kelp or his devotion and worry about me, maybe both. But he is like my personal watch dog/therapy caregiver/ and keeper of the purrs. It is a HUGE help to have his stress lowering influence.
Find a cat to pet. Maybe find a dog to throw a ball for too. We need those calm moments now more than ever in our lifetimes.

Same for me. I had hoped for my latter years to be happy, not filled with Trumpshit.

I imagine that is pretty insane if they all get the zoomies all at the same time.
