IIRC, the NYT published side-by-side pix w/captions to that effect.

If you "find" wealth that belonged to brown people you just killed, I guess that falls under scavenging. Like vultures and jackals.

ETA: Isn't "access" a wonderfully detached term ? No ethical judgements, and in the passive voice.
