It’s a weird mix of really old American aircraft like F-14 tomcats, old mirage jets, and some newer Russian made Migs. We have seen how great that has performed in Ukraine.

I’m not too surprised here. The earlier attacks over the last year or two by Israel and the US were precisely aimed at testing their air defenses.

The real issue is asymmetric warfare and the use of cheap Shahed drones. I’m amazed at the posters crowing about the interceptor rates. Sure they work well, but they aren’t infinite in supply and they cost some 10x more than the actual drones.

We’ll be paying for this fucking thing for a long time.

Of anyone supports this, they need to suit up or send their kids over there. And they should be made to pay for this as well.
