Texas is a completely different environment than what the rest of the country is. All of the "data" and "logic" that applies everywhere else does not apply to Texas.

The fact that you don't understand the "better not" comment means that you don't understand that mere dialect is different in different areas, much less politics.

I sincerely wish you better luck at finding patient posters here on DU.
