Because he wants to parlay that into endless ass kissing for himself with way Manchin and Sinema did when they held the power to sink Democratic bills.

Or he may just switch to rethug.
Either way we as a party need to seriously look at how people like Sinema and Fetterman as slipping past the primary process and figure out how to stop it.
