4. Oh, man... as someone who's had a hip replaced

with titanium after a bad fall on cement (thanks to my dog on his leash), I can SO sympathize with you. Take it easy on yourself. I think I'd be doing more than a "strongly worded letter" myself... but that's just me. Good news is that it's been almost 20 years since I had that hip replaced, and it's only now giving me twangs when I walk to long on it. The bad news is between the titanium in my femur and hip socket, and the same in my spine, I now set off alarms when I walk INTO a store... never mind walking out! (LOL) Be gentle with yourself. I wasn't particularly, and started to do stairs way too soon. I'd advise against that for the first few days, at least!
