12 years ago, this would have been unbelievable. In some ways, it would have been unbelievable 6 years ago. It was only after covid hit, and he came out with the crap like injecting bleach, that he really seemed obsessed with doing really stupid things that ought to have made him unelectable again. Before that, he was racist, misogynistic, xenophobic, and anti-liberal, but it did at least make sense and hang together as right wing bigoted policy.
