capitalize things they shouldnt, like tariffs licenses, nations, license, birthright citizenship. They dont capitalize things that should be capitalized. Like the Supreme Court (which the post at least admits is intentionally done). Im not even complaining about the cap phrases. I get why people do that. But they use them incorrectly all the time!
And by the way, his rant about birthright citizenship is very rich, because one of his properties was known for pregnancy vacations for the Russians. Russian women were sent to the US to give birth so that their babies would have passports. A hotspot for that was Palm Beach.
I am quite in favor of birthright citizenship for every Hispanic, Latino, African, European, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Caribbean, etc. whose parents just happens to be here for whatever reason.
Im a little queasy about two countries, Russia and China, both strategic long-term thinkers, who have quite possibly been using it as a plan for future dirty tricks. They may be just creating a pool of future infiltrators, its problematic.
If the kid is raised in the US, hopefully their cultural upbringing (in US public schools??) would inoculate them from becoming weapons of espionage, but these days it is going to be too easy to avoid exposure to American ideals and community. There was also that sad case in Canada of the Russian spies whose two boys were born and raised in Canada, subsequently discovered to be spies when their kids were college age. Terrible thing to do to ones own child.
