Texas State Senate and Texas State House [View all]

All of the excitement in Texas is obviously generating towards the top of the ballot, especially the US Senate race, but with that excitement comes voters who hopefully vote down ballot as well.

Republicans control every single branch of Government in Texas. While the chance of flipping that US Senate seat blue is exciting, or even the Governorship to blue, I think we all know it will be an uphill battle. But flipping more Texas State Senate and Texas State House seats is something that I will be watching for. Change usually starts at the lower end and then eventually moves up.

I would enjoy hearing about some of the down ballot races that could help make a difference in the party control of Texas from Texas DUers.
