Musician Nicki Minaj, who in recent months has become a prominent ally of President Donald Trump, was hammered by critics Sunday after boasting about what she called “one of the most meaningful gifts” she’d “ever received” – a Trump Bible, signed by the president himself.

“One of the most meaningful gifts I’ve ever received in my entire life,” Minaj wrote Saturday evening in a social media post on X to her more than 26 million followers, alongside a photo of the Bible.

Trump began selling a version of the Bible branded with his own name in 2024, Bibles that also include the Constitution, albeit with significant omissions that have raised concern. Standard editions of the Trump Bible retail for $59.99, and signed copies, for $1,000.

Trump appeared to waive the cost for his newest ally Minaj, gifting her a signed copy of the Trump Bible for free. Her praise for the gift, however, was met with scorn among critics.
