edited to add - I am not into religion, but his version of religion seems to be genuine and not based on garnishing the vote which is obviously what most, if not all, the Texas politicians I have seen in my 50 years of living here in Texas. To me that is not only a turn-off for religion but highlights the reason that I think there should be a separation of church/state.
