I think maybe it’s our American movie mentality but this idea that complex criminality vanishes after defeating the boss or one purveyor is really strange. I certainly applaud going after the ultimate mastermind or figureheads of such activities, but generally the vacuum created is just filled by either someone within the same organization or a competing one. I hope more people wonder as you have and put pressure on governments to follow every lead in this investigation because then maybe we can get to the underbelly of this vile, criminal market. If the info dump gets large and specific enough, we’ll see perpetrators turn on each other.
