Musk Rails Against ‘Woke And Sanctimonious’ AI Rivals—Insists ‘Grok Musk Win’Forbes

This is not the first time Musk has attacked rival AI companies. The xAI owner has a long-running public feud with OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman—including a high-profile legal battle. Musk was one of OpenAI’s cofounders, but he sued the company and its leadership in 2024, alleging that it was abandoning its foundational goal of developing an open-source Artificial General Intelligence to “benefit humanity” in favor of chasing profits. This prompted a countersuit from OpenAI, which claimed Musk, in fact, wanted OpenAI to pursue a path to become a “for-profit” company in 2017, with him serving as CEO. Musk and Altman have repeatedly sniped at each other in public since then, with the most recent being Musk reposting a claim that ChatGPT has been linked to several suicides and writing: “Don’t let your loved ones use ChatGPT.”

I do agree that AI is way overhyped, but that does not exclude Grok.
By definition AI successfully mimics human responses through a text interface.
That is the Turing test in modern terminology.
Not an all purpose substitute for humans or an infallible oracle.
Philosophical questions and implementation details deliberately excluded from the definition.
Just a rumor about Grok (I'm looking into it) --
Kiwi Farms trolls are "educating" Grok about trans people by using their forum as training data.
