Make college affordable.
Make child care affordable.
Forgive student debt so that those people can use that money to take part in the general economy.
Reform the immigration laws and provide a way to full citizenship.
Drive the hedge funds out of the housing market/business.
Reform public education with serious minimum standards so that we do not continue to produce ignorant people ready to follow the next right-wing propagandist that comes down the pike. Add significant new infrastructure to K thru 12 public schools. Stop all federal and local government funding to non-public schools.
Staff the government with the best and brightest (that is going to be a heavy lift unless we can convince people that they won't be fired every time there is a new administration).
Rebuild the scientific research community as rapidly as possible.
And finally, lets seriously prune the out of control military budget.
