General Discussion

The problem is that many people believe in a very judgemental, jealous, angry, and violent god. The god of the Old Testament is one such god, who of course has zero to do with teachings of the Jesus fellow Christians™ claim to follow. The OT god sanctions rape, infanticide, slavery, war, war crimes, and genocide. Many self-professed "Christians" are right on board with those views.

I really have never understood Evangelicals enthusiasm for Jesus "to return". They would simply crucify him again as they did the first time, for refusing to spout their version of dogma.
