On day thirty, the entire pond is covered in lilies.

After how many days was the pond exactly half full of lilies?
On day twenty-nine.

Such is exponential growth.

We are heading toward an age when climate becomes too extreme, temperature becomes too hot, air becomes too toxic, clean water becomes too rare, resources become too gone.

The best time to act was a generation ago.
The second-best time to act is today.

And on what day will we be inexorably and unavoidably fucked?
