Some of us have "guardian angels" that keep us out of bad situations.
That said, I am dropping Apple from future expenditures. And I let them (him) know.
As a former sysadmin and scripter, I always found linux/Solaris more suitable. Great open source apps have to be shoehorned into MacOS (Windows and MS are too putrid to get past my doorstep) with homebrew or ports and updated every time Apple upsets the Apple Cart (yearly).
Cook, you cooked Apple.
