The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has purchased a facility in Chester, New York, a spokesperson confirmed on Feb. 13, without verifying whether the acquisition address is 29 Elizabeth Drive, a warehouse which was previously listed in a public notice for purchase by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

However, as of the morning of Feb. 13, a deed transfer for the warehouse property or any other Chester purchase by ICE has not been filed with the county, according to Orange County Clerk Kelly Eskew. And the Elizabeth Drive property was still under the previously listed owner, IEP Chester LLC.
