12. Understandable. Capital punishment is too freely administered...

... especially if you're poor and black. But I do believe some people are irrevocably evil. Locking them away at State expense for their entire "natural" lives seems no better than removing them from the population by more absolute means. There are those who will recite the mantra "there is always hope," and cite examples of regeneration, but some people are just never gonna reform, and so they should be removed from society one way or another. The punch line is deciding who is unacceptably evil, and moreover, whom gets to decide.
