For the normies out there that don’t understand international finance at all it’s all just about the number. They don’t care that the dollar has plummeted in value they just see the number going up. I remember trying to explain to a local company president several years ago why inflation wasn’t Biden’s fault but the fact that we created nearly 20% of all money in our country’s history under Trump at the Fed. He just very bluntly said “well I disagree with your theory” and went on about the cost of gas.
