felt like they'd covered most, if not all contingencies, but no one anticipated someone like Trump or even worse, the tens of millions of low information voters who believe reality TV is actual reality.

Meanwhile, congress was supposed to be the check on a tyrannical executive branch. How could they anticipate such dishonorable, anti-democratic public servants?
