Definitely no idea where this is going. My own hope is that it lets us all semi-retire. Chess players still have a lot of fun, even though they can all be easily beat by existing chess programs.

Your point about LLMs is trenchant imo. We can let our personal word choice "artistry" and parroting habits drive what we say.
