2. Talking to a shrimper in Maine in the late 90s

He said Walmart wouldn’t buy local seafood to sell and was ruining the market for it.

I was buying fresh (still live) shrimp from him for 89 cents a pound by the side of the road. They were fabulous.

Climate change has killed off our shrimp fishery since.
