Trump Administration to Appeal Offshore Wind Farm Rulings [View all]

The Trump administration plans to appeal a series of court rulings blocking efforts to stop construction of offshore wind farms, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum said.

“Absolutely we are,” Burgum said Wednesday on Bloomberg Television. “There will be further discussion on this.”

US judges have overturned five orders by the Trump administration to halt work on multi-billion dollar offshore wind projects, with the most recent ruling occurring earlier this month involving a project off Long Island being developed by Orsted A/S.

Last month, the same Washington-based judge, US District Judge Royce C. Lamberth, allowed Orsted to resume work on its Revolution Wind project off Rhode Island. Other projects by Dominion Energy Inc., Equinor ASA and Iberdrola SA, have also prevailed in court.

The only thing this deplorable administration has done is work to tear things down and destroy things that help the most vulnerable people in society and future generations.

If there is a definition of evil, this is it, and it is NOT hyperbole, because this THUG in the white house actually goes out of his way to hurt people.
