It’s getting more coverage today because the door camera that we were told had no footage of the crime unexpectedly did (recovered from back servers). And the footage is really creepy but very revealing. For better or worse, a lot of people find this story fascinating. I would imagine that the perp will be found soon and coverage will taper off.
