Despite her statement to the contrary. Yes, you can ski with a torn ACL, but now you’re compensating, and under ideal snow conditions where maybe you’re just skiing for the sake of joy, you could probably get away with it. Not in conditions that are challenging, not at an Olympic level of competition.

Life changes forever in an unguarded moment. Either you’re the type of person who doesn’t want to end up “what if”ing over missed opportunities, or you’re the type that doesn’t care to spend the rest of your life regretting your hubris.

I’m sure in my 60’s now, my equations run differently than hers at 41.
