34. Even something like making sure lights are facing down, not up,

is helpful. When the unwanted new convenience store in our neighborhood installed their service area security lights just before opening, they were face-up and blinding. After a surprised, cordial chat with the upset neighbors, they actually installed completely different, down-facing, far less blinding, lights, for which the creatures of the night, and the neighbors, were most grateful.
