All that aside, this "Department of War" shit is such a damn joke. It is a fiction.

Literally.

A little boy's silly fantasy.

A little boy whose father drummed things into his head like "Real men MAKE WAR. Only chicken shits PREVENT WAR. Only losers refuse to attack and grab whatever the fuck they want, morality be damned. Only losers arm themselves only to DEFEND against attack.

And now that little boy grew up and issued his big, bad, meaningless executive order to call the Department of Defense something else, when EVERYONE KNOWS the official, legal name remains the Department of Defense, because only Congress has the authority to permanently rename cabinet-level departments.
