Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick Revealed To Have Visited Jeffrey Epstein’s Island After Saying He ‘Would Never Be In A Room With That Disgusting Person’
Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick appears to have visited Jeffrey Epstein‘s island, according to a newly released batch of files from the Department of Justice.
Lutnick appeared on Pod Force One, a podcast hosted by Miranda Devine on October 1, 2025, and claimed that “he would never be in a room with that disgusting person ever again” after meeting with him in 2005.

The emails from December 2012 appear to show Epstein inviting Lutnick to his island.
“Come sat or sun lunch? little st james on the map, behind christmas cove,” reads Epstein’s email to Lutnick.
Lutnick responded much more formally, informing Epstein that he needed the exact coordinates of the island for his captain and that he had other families and multiple children with him. He also asked if “Sunday evening for dinner” worked for the convicted trafficker.

Shortly after his confirmation, Lutnick began popping up on television as frequently as commercials for full-body deodorant. Somebody at the White House—Trump?—must think Howard is good on TV. Actually, he’s horrible.
