That can "compel" him to resign. It may be embarrassing or politically damaging but there is nothing that can force him out of office except an impeachment conviction. Hopefully everyone is aware, given the current congress, there is probably nothing he could do to be convicted in an impeachment hearing.

Second I recall the many people during the first term, who claimed to have secret recordings and tapes of things he said during meetings in the Oval Office or other places. In every single case, the people made the rounds of talk shows promoting upcoming books or the release of these recordings. Once they had their minutes of fame, they quietly faded away and not a single recording was ever made public nor any expose written.
