funding vaccine trials (e.g., the much needed dengue vaccine), climate change initiatives (yes, he DID fund work in that direction and to my knowledge, still does), other research science initiatives and helping the World Health Organization with their priority projects in the third world, especially Asia.

So, he has decades of such "reputation-repairing" work to point to. So does Clinton. Are you unaware of the Gates Foundation work?
