It was just waiting until SCOTUS was fully baked.
They've been training in the woods in "secret" the whole time, similar to how "flying clubs" became the Luftwaffe and Brown shirts became the SS, in plain sight under cover of "law".
On of the first actions after putting down this coup is to rescind ALL the pardons and reassert the Rule Of Law.
It's a fine line between "giving them the benefit of a doubt" and being fatally gullible.
We knew all along who they were because they told us.
DOJ has always deferred to right-wing paramilitaries and thrown the full weight of the Law at left-wing groups.
Now, with SCOTUS running interference they have the road all to themselves.
It kinda has the aroma of being rigged for seditionists and insurrectionists.
