by a number of (legal) Somali immigrants who, under the direction of a local white woman, set up fake charities that were supposedly providing food for low-income children. There was a lot of money involved and it was a big local scandal but the perpetrators were identified, investigated, charged, prosecuted, tried and convicted, and now the case is closed. But because most of the perps were Somali, Trump, who is unabashedly racist, is using this fraud case as an excuse to deport all of the 80,000 Somalis who were not involved in the fraud, who are mostly American citizens, and who are ordinary law-abiding members of our communities.
