Honestly, if he was on top of the ticket and/or if the Democratic "consultants" hadn't gotten involved, there's a good chance Dems could have won despite the shenanigans in 2024.
Walz had the best favorability rating of anyone on the ticket in October. There's a good chance if he ran again, he could get the ticket he was on over the finish line in 28.
