The Swordfish demolished the Italian fleet at Taranto in 1940 and then hit the German battle ship The Bismarck in May 1941 which, crippled it, allowing the British Royal Navy to sink it.

Battleships became obsolete and the aircraft carrier with planes became the main way to attack.

Of course, I'm sure Trump has read all about it.
