…that makes him unqualified to hold the office, which is the one tha bars insurrectionists. He was an adjudicated insurrectionist in Colorado. Then SCOTUS said he could be on the ballot. However, he remained unqualified Constitutionally. So SCOTUS could do the same for felons, despite an amendment barring them. The issue remains: how do we keep elected but literally unqualified people from assuming office? In my view an amendment would not suffice.
