for example, complete freedom of travel without being surveilled... and freedom to smoke, drink, shoot, or eat any damn thing you want... these types of things are always "not in the same category" as what they think freedom should be. Meanwhile, they buy tons of coke and party like there's no tomorrow. We poor saps are stuck with whatever we can legally or illegally get to sooth our pain and anxieties.

I think most people play around with libertarianism in their teenage years. It sounds good to a non-developed teenage brain. By the time you're in your 20's, tho, your brain should have developed enough to realize Freedom isn't free, and someone's freedom is usually at the expense of someone else's pain. I believe it's the late 20's or early 30's before the brain is finally done developing; someone can correct me if I'm remembering incorrectly... it's been a long time since college! (LOL)
