1. I honestly think Rob Reiner's death (even without the horrific nature) has hit me as hard or harder than any

death of someone I didn't know personally--I felt as though I did. I guess we aren't "supposed" to form such attachments that we would truly mourn their passing, but I don't think I'm alone in crossing that line.

I've been shaken and more than a little depressed since this happened. While I freely admit that everything Trump does causes me great distress, his horrific comments toward Reiner and his wife felt like the sharpest pain that would not quit. Especially because I am all too able to imagine the last violence-filled minutes of he and his wife. It is beyond devastating to imagine.

This is not something I will soon "get over." to both Rob and Michele. That you were so loved (and now grieved) by so many is really emblematic of what good they brought to the world.
