Ordinarily I think of myself as pragmatic, insightful and intelligent. This delusional self-estimation proved to me my foolish blindness to the reality of hideous thing in the White House. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve never voted for a republican in my life and never will. For some reason I thought that ‘Checks and Balances ‘ would mitigate, moderate or even terminate this existential threat to our national existence. But NO, it just continues on.

Endless national shame promulgated by a convicted felon’s misogynistic, racist, anti democracy , bile spilling, education hating, KKK loving, gold crown wearing while pooping on America…..adjectives fail in this. We need a new word for defining what he represents.

THREE more years of this unbelievable asshole. What kind of slow boiling pot are we putting ourselves in? What will normal look like when he is finally done? What will be left of our nation? Its honor, its world class leadership, its national pride, its first class intellect? Is what he represents what we want as legacy?
