When I was first married, back in 1982, it cost us one year's salary for a very small cottage on a lake. I made the average income for 1982. We bought the house with a mortgage at 15% interest. We sold it 2 years later for about what we bought it for.

Today, it would take 6 to 8 year's salary for the same house... it's for sale again but I don't want to move back to Illinois.

But if you asked the demented pedo in the White House, it's all those dolls and pencils that are causing the out of control inflation.
