3. AI is the next workers rights battle

I’m not referring to AI taking jobs, though that’s a problem as well.

I’m referring to AI used for employee monitoring. Will computer vision snap your photo through your laptop camera every second for your entire set working hours, and, report any time you are not at your PC or not fully engaged? Will customer workers be monitored via AI for how much they smile? Will AI be used for surveillance of employees outside the workplace, such as their spending habits, their political opinions, or, how well they drive?

If we don’t address these now, we’re going to be on our way to corporate slavery.
