3. That's the most disturbing part to me.

We’ve had bad leadership before and survived it, but the amount of belligerent ignorance, hostility, racism, homophobia, xenophobia, and misogyny I’m seeing in social media posts is staggering. Granted many are bots posting on public pages, but I see it in private groups too. It’s heartbreaking to realize how truly bad many of our fellow citizens really are. How do we survive that genie being let out of the bottle?
